Chairman's Message
This year marked the 85th Anniversary of the St Andrew High School for Girls (SAHS). The 81/2 decades have seen the School grow from the initial 21 students and 6 staff to a current student population of 1500 and 137 staff - 77 teachers full and 26 part time, 19 administrative and 15 ancillary.
The Anniversary celebrations and Homecoming week were exhilarating, providing opportunities for camaraderie and reminiscing! Please explore the News and Achievements pages of this website for more information about those events. Also go to Facebook SAHS Museum to share in the the excitement that has been generated by the opening of the Emrie James Museum.
Congratulations to Sharon Reid, Principal, whose strong, visionary and creative leadership, has inspired her SAHS Team. The Board, supported by the vibrant PTA and Old Girls' Association, has provided leadership and spearheaded activities which have resulted in the continued development of the School. The Strategic Plan as set out in the Balanced Scorecard 2011 - 2015 clearly demonstrates the very participatory and business - like approach that the School's leadership takes to ensure that St Andrew will maintain its legacy of excellence in education and be on the cutting edge of developments as it strives to become an international model for education.
